    Hiya,

Just wondering what other people think or would do here.

There is a company advertising for 2 different jobs both of which I could do. I would be more of a favourite for one of the jobs, which is a contract, as opposed to the other, which is permanent.

Do people think it looks bad applying for the two or should I just pick one and go for it?

I would apply for both. If deadline dates exist and are not on the same date, then apply accordingly, just not together at the same time. If there are no deadline dates then i would still send two applications as they are different jobs as you said on different days. Treat each job, even if in the same company as if they are separate entities which they are. Chances are that you may have to go in for different interviews. Besides you may or may not get luck for the one you really want. Nothing to lose.
