Apartments becoming available, end of May?

    Hi - I am student from England.
    I am moving to Sligo shortly and believe that a lot of accommodation frees up at the end of May when the students leave.

    I am not looking for an apartment in a student village or anything.
    I am a mature student looking for my own place. Maybe a one or two bed apartment.
    More a place close to the city centre.

    I just check with some rental agencies and they have some apartments available now, but not that much.

    Is it worth my while holding out another month or so until this academic year is finished before I go looking for a place?
    Or are most of the students confined to the student villages?

    Difficult question to answer but maybe someone here has experience with that.
    Or perhaps contact details of an outlet that could advise me?
