Solicitor charges

    Hi all,

    I've had an injury at work and I've had to go down the legal route to seek compensation. I found a solicitor local to me to take on the case however the fees seems a bit strange. He is looking for a 10 - 20 percentage of winnings plus vat and is also looking for a winning bonus of €4k.

    Has anyone any experience of this as it seems a bit odd to me. Just to confirm I'm not looking for legal advice , just querying other people's experience on charges.
