04 focus

i have a 2004 ford focus. the last few days it had very little power in any gear. then today the car stopped driving.

i can hear the car going into gear but the car wont move.

i can put the car in any gear and take my foot off the clutch and the car wont stall including reverse.

i have a limited knowledge of cars and when a clutch went on a different car i was able to put it in gear and drive but not change gears but this car wont move.

could anyone take a rough guess to what it might be?

if its the clutch im probably looking at about 500 euro to fix it and the car is not worth the cost of the repair.

any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like clutch.
Shouldnt cost anymore than 350 to 400.
What part of the country are you in ??

looking up parts and the clutch plates are around 120 euro and i have read online that the central slave cylinder would need to be replaced when the clutch was been done thats why i thought it would be around 500 but as i said i have a very limited knowledge of cars

A 3 piece kit can be got for around 150 and three or four hours labour.
