My mask on my helmet is broke. So I asked a fella to drop my helmet up to mycro and ask them to put on a new mask. I was told on sanitation issues that they won't to it. I told them would they not wear gloves. I was told they won't do it. I find it amazing that mycro find that they won't repair helmets because of sweet. Sportspeople do sweet.

Young lad had a broken stud on his helmet. The one behind the ear that the strap locks to. I happened to be in Ballincollig on business and popped into mycro with it. Fixed no problem and free of charge. Couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. That was last summer.

Yes much cheaper. I've done it myself couple years ago. Can't remember the exact amount but it was a decent saving

Also I've had to deal with them on other things over the years and found them seriously helpful. They're local to my club and I know lots of people who have used them and I've never heard a bad word so I think the OP has just had an unlucky experience or something

They can't sell face guard directly as under the new regulations they could be held responsible in the case of injury if it wasn't fitted correctly

Was on.the phone and offered a cheaper helmet, asked me what size I was? Said probably large. Same as the helmet I gave them. The woman said she won't measure it..
