    Hey everyone,

Has anyone got any custom framing done in Cork City recently or used any of the below? Need to get some usual prints framed and off the shelf frames in shops / IKEA don't have the sizes I'm looking for. Also, online appears a bit expensive, one Irish company quoting €45 for one custom made frame, was looking for a cheaper option.

    MARCUS FRAMING
    13 Adelaide St

    Picture Frame Shop
    36 Cook St

    Picture Frame Shop
Unit 9, Melbourne Business Park, Model Farm Rd

    Cheers for looking.

There's also the Framemaker. I used them once for a deep set frame of a keepsake and it was around €50 IIRC. Depending on the size frame you're looking for and if it's not a deep set frame, they might be cheaper.

Sound. I'll give them a try. When did you get your frames made up?

Basically trying to get a decent frames for two prints, not too pricey.

Woodies had a load of frames reduced a couple of weeks ago - I picked up a couple of nice ones at a good price but they were for 8x10 and 7x5 prints.

If it's your prints are a non-regular size could you not get the mounting card yourself and cut the apertures or ask one of the framing shops for it ? I'm sure they'd supply that alone if you asked them. Fit it to a frame of your choice then.

I would second the Framemaker. I got a frame for a certificate done by them in their Carrigaline studio and found them very friendly, professional and helpful.

My frame cost €93 but it was a large frame and I had a couple of other requirements, so it could be less for you.

I assume any custom frame will be at least 50e?
