Hi, I am interested in getting into training greyhounds, I have about an acre of land to use initially with more available. I am going applying for my Private trainers licence so I can train 4 dogs for myself initially. It is my intention to build accommodation and facilities before I purchase a few pups. I suppose what I really want to know is am I going the right way about it to get my private licence? Build adequate accommodation & Facilities, then Buy a greyhound and then apply for the licence in that order? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

You don't need a licence to train dogs for yourself.

If you are working a 9-5 job would it be possible to train a dog, two dogs, at the same time?

feed em, let them out in the morning, walk in the evening? then big feed?

or would you need to be there during the day?
