Hi, I have the above model washing machine which recently stopped working and blew the trip switch. It was not draining and the discovery of a sock in the filter sorted the draining issue. The machine will not start for me again though since I cleared the filter. The power light is on but none of the machine settings will work. The machine is about 17 years old so may have come to the end of it's life. Does anyone know if there is something simple that may be wrong. I am reluctant to get a repairman out as that will be E 50/100 and they may not even get fixing it. Am I just as well to buy a new one?
