    Hi,

General query, car failed the NCT, had to remove the bumper and front licence plate to replace a bracket under the rad.

Fixed now and got the car back but i see the screw that holds the front licence plate onto the bumper is protruding by about an inch. Tried to just screw it in fully myself but its stuck.

Would this for any reason fail the retest?

Yes, as it can rip open a person if you hit them.
    Anything jagged is a fail.

K, thanks, that's what I thought. I'll get back onto them.

It's up to the tester, and an inch is not a lot.
    But better safe than sorry.
