Maternity payment delay?

    Is there a delay in Maternity benefit payment. The other half started her maternity leave last Friday and first payment was suppose to be on Monday but nothing in account yet?

    Mite be worth giving them a ring to check. How far along was she when the forms were sent in. I sent my forms in at 30 weeks in the hope to have it processed in time.

    They've sorted the backlog into importance depending on when your maternity leave starts rather than first come first served if you understand me.
