Hurling Helmet

    hi, the young lad needs a new hurling helmet, he want's cooper. Now, he is 13 this summer and is tall, he's just over 5ft 6in and takes a size 11 football boot.

    Cooper adults are for ages 15 up and he tried one on but he thinks it's too big, there's a gap at the front but he hadn't adjusted it.

    I don't want to fork out big money for a junior helmet and then 12 months down the line he needs an adult helmet.

    My question is ... is the gap at the front because it's too big on him or is it meant to be like that. It fits him snugly at the side's. What do ye think. I suggested another brand but he's hell bent on cooper :rolleyes:
