Setting Down For Trial

I have a personal injury case in process for the last 4 years or so... when I track my court case on http://highcourtsearch.courts.ie/ I see that the last and recent entry was "SETTING DOWN FOR TRIAL" with a sitting down number.

Does anybody have any experience what this means? I have received absolutely no contact from the solicitor company I hired... they seem to only see me as a number. I get no information what so ever.

If anybody went through the same process, what does this setting down for trial mean?

    Thanks!

You are looking for advice here regarding a personal injuries action which your solicitor considers ready to set down for trial?.
You then say you have had no contact from your solicitor!
It is rather unlikely that any solicitor could progress a PI action to setting down without having many interviews with you.
If this is so, you should seek an immediate meeting with your solicitor
On checking I see that you have been on here in 2014/5 under title "War stories from the frontline"
