Hey i bought a vw passat 2010 1.6L tdi bluemotion from Al Hayes portumna a week ago. Since then the car has been running fine.
A few days ago i was starting the car and the engine started for a few seconds and then it cut out and started itself again. It was stopped outside the house for a few hours and it was a pretty cool night.
When the car starts it sits for a few seconds and then the revs goes up and down and then it cuts out. I tried this a few times. I waited for all the lights to turn off on the dash and i pushed the accelerator and i put it into gear, nothing seemed to change. I tried it about five or six times and then all of a sudden im able to rev the car. And its fine for a while. Its done this three times in the last week.
Before i took the car from Al Hayes there was a full service done on it. Im just worried that something serious might be wrong with the car and i cant afford to get loads of repairs.
Any help would be really appreciated!!!!!

Have you called the dealer and told them the story?

    That was your first mistake.
Bring it back to him and make him repair it.
