Clutch judder

    Hey folks,

Bought myself a 2013 Audi A4 2.0 tdi about 2months back, the car came with 3 months Warranty and luckily enough the clutch started to go last week in warranty, the garage who provides the warranty changed the clutch, release bearing and flywheel. Since getting it back the clutch is better, but now has a judder, which it never had before even when it had the bad clutch, its driving me nuts and the garage wreckon its nothing to worry about. But when I take off or reverse the car is vibrating, is this normal as they are new and need to be worn in? Or should it be smooth?

    Additional info:

The garage replaced the clutch and flywheel with a Sachs DMF kit

    Thanks

Could you be staying on the clutch too long causing it to judder? You might be used to hanging onto the older worn clutch and the new one can be released a lot sooner.

In me experience, clutch judder might get better or disappear alltogether after clutch is properly bedded in after 1000 to 2000km.

However same likely it might still judder the same as it is juddering now.
You'd just need to wait and see.

Yeah I am going to give it 1000k and see how it goes, just hoping to try get the 1000k done before the warranty expires in a few weeks.

That's the one they said they put in, might be worth getting a second opinion. I might be just sceptical and they may be honest.

Was there much mileage on your A4 when the clutch went?

Update, since getting this clutch and flywheel fitted 2-3 months ago my clutch is slipping. Something wasn't right. Getting it inspected this week
