Do not regularly back tennis, but that lad Kyrgios has some unreal ability. Just backed him at 4/1 a set down against Federer and am going to bed now. Horse racing tips going to come shortly.

Tennis racing rocks, he's not bad at swatting for a mid-30-something:

Went down to the line, but young Fed wins.

    Crazy Horse 7/2 3:00 Doncaster ★★★

The Doncaster Mile at 3:00 is a Listed race for 4 year olds and up. John Gosden has two decent sorts in this race in Crazy Horse and Castle Harbour. Both of these horses impressed me last season. It’s important to note that Frankie Dettori the stable jockey has decided to ride Crazy Horse. This horse ran well in the French 2000 Guineas last year but spent some time on the sidelines after that run. It made a nice return winning at Salisbury at the back end of last season and it then placed at group level in France. This horse runs well fresh and he should love the ground. Stormy Antarctic the top rated horse in this looks to be the main danger. He’s dropping from Group 1 level to listed level so he ought to have a great chance but Crazy Horse is the selections.

    Each Way Bets:

    Donncha 9/1 3:35 Doncaster ★★★

The feature race on the card the Lincoln at 3:35 looks a tough puzzle to solve yet again. The draw is usually a factor here and the Spring Mile earlier in the day will prove the best guide in regards to the draw. Some of the other trends to look at are weight and age. 4 to 6 years old have won the last 10 renewals and 9 of 10 winners carried between 8-9 and 9-4. 7 of last 10 winners were officially rated 95 to 102. Yuften has been the one that the punters have latched onto. He’s as low as 4/1 now for this race. This horse is consistent but usually finds one or two too good. He was unlucky not to win last time out so he could be a few pounds well in. I don’t think he’s much value at the prices but he is sure to be bang there at the finish. Donncha didn't manage to win a race last year but he’s a very reliable horse and rarely runs a bad one. He was placed in most of the big handicaps in or around a mile last season. The ground will suit and maybe given a more patient ride under Jamie Spencer today, this horse could well land this big prize. He should give you a good run for your money and no doubt he’ll be involved in the finish. Instant Attraction is a horse that runs really well on this sort of ground. He can really show a good turn of foot on soft ground unlike most flat horses. If it really cuts up he’d be one at big prices to be following but my selection for the race is Donncha.

    Examiner 14/1 2:25 Doncaster ★★

The 2:25 the Spring Mile is the consolation race for those who did not get into the feature race on the card the Lincoln handicap. Lord of the Rock won this race last year off 5lb lower. Had 2 runs since but disappointed badly. The Frankie Dettori ridden Nimr is sure to have his followers in this race as is the top weight Ballet Concerto but the two I like are Examiner and Mount Tahan. Examiner had a really eye catching return to form recently on the all weather. He was very unlucky and showed signs that he could be winning soon. That run should put him spot on for this. Mount Tahan ran in some top handicaps last year and he has a chance in this. He might have preferred better ground though so my pick for this race is Examiner.

    Tupi 10/1 1:50 Doncaster ★★

Mobsta won this race last year and he is in the field yet again. He loves soft ground so he should be at home under these conditions. He does have stiff competition though. The top rated horse in the race Birchwood who is trained by Richard Fahey, won a Group 2 as a 2 year old and contended some top races last season. He needed a few runs to get going last season and this trip looks to be on the sharp side for him. Tupi was a decent 2 year old and ran well at group and listed level last year. Hasn't been firing on all cylinders lately but I think he’s one who could run a nice race at a decent each way price under Ryan Moore.

    Bahamian C 18/1 5:50 Doncaster ★

An apprentice handicap ends the card on Lincoln day at Doncaster. This is a wide open looking handicap. Volpone Jelois is an interesting runner for National Hunt trainer Paul Nicholls. The one I like though is the one at the very bottom of the weights and it is the Richard Fahey trained Bahamian C. This horse was placed in three races like this last season and is sure to give his jockey another great run today at odds of 18/1.

Examiner in the 2.25 at Donnie looks to have plenty in his favour. Thought he'd be closer to 8s so all over the 14s and 5 places with Coral.
