Dublin Port by Foot

My cousin is travelling as a foot passenger by Ferry and I have to go collect him. I know terminal 3 is opposite 3arena and then there's the entrance where the train goes and further on the entrance where the topaz is. Where would foot passengers from Holyhead exit? I can't find anything online.

    Thanks :)

Are they going on P&O (terminal 3) - wasn't aware they took foot passengers anymore?

Stena and Irish Ferries both drop off beyond the Topaz, quite well beyond in Irish Ferries case

That should drop him to Busaras in that case; or somewhere very nearby if there is still disruption with Bus Eireann and the bus still operates.

Thanks, was hoping he could walk into Eastwall save having to come back out from town or me having to go in to collect him from town lol

That area of the city is quite a bit bigger than people seem to think - even assuming you mean somewhere like Sheriff Street as East Wall its a 3km walk from Irish Ferries passenger terminal to the Gibson Hotel carpark!

Had a rather fun thread in the Dublin City forum where someone seemed to not realise Sheriff Street is a full mile long and thought Facebook's new offices in East Wall were closer to Noctors Pub than their current ones. They aren't. Huge land area over there.

If its Eurolines he probably isn't getting off until Busaras. He can get the Luas back if its daytime (0600-2300 or so, not sure the exact times)

Long walk from Irish Ferries terminal to 3Arena. At least 30 mins. Only a few mins drive though and there's ample parking outside the terminal building so it might be most convenient to collect him there.

He'd have to walk off the ferry as a foot passenger though rather then get back on the coach again (and not leave any luggage on the coach during the ferry crossing - there's a luggage storage room on the ferry).

    Eurolines goes to/from Busarus.

Collect him from the ferryport itself (google maps it) or from Amiens St.

Yeah, the 53 runs every hour on the hour from 7:00 to 19:00 from Talbot Street to the ferry terminals and vice versa on the half hour.

The dedicated ferry shuttle buses are now all operated by Mortons Coaches from Westmoreland St.

Dublin Bus ceased their operation of the dedicated Irish Ferries bus (53B) in March.

Really? I haven't seen any info to that effect. I last used the 53 on Paddy's weekend.

I said the 53b - the special service.

The 53 (local bus service) continues to operate.

That's no big deal, the 53 is more than sufficient a service for the ferries during the day.
