Hifihut is the best place in Dublin that I've come across. Its near the Red Cow but they have a great range. Ive bought a couple of sets of headphones, speakers and a player over the past 3 years or so, good service there and they'll let you try stuff out. http://www.hifihut.ie

Tower used to have Clooney Audio in the shop but thats gone now so you can really only get midrange headphones there.

Highly recommend these guys too, bought a Rega P2 turntable off them recently and a phono stage. The phono stage I wanted was out of stock and they gave me the next model up for the same price.

They have a new audio section upstairs that does high end stuff.

I agree, expensive but great stuff, it depends on what you want to get to be honest.

Ill check the upstairs in Tower again, it used to be mostly only sennheiser (nothing wrong with the 650 or 800 here but i don't think Tower stock either).

True. Upgraded my turntable with them and they are a pleasure to deal with.
