Considering upgrading to a newer diesel and there's not much out there that has caught my eye. I like Scirocco's however and the oldest examples (2009) are now within my budget, some at least.

I do approx 500 miles a week so the 2.0d is the only option for me really although there are alot of 1.4TSi's about for much cheaper.

Has anyone on here owned one and if so what are they like? What are the main things to look out for?

Would 11,995 for a v high spec 2009 with 88k miles from a main dealer be an okay price? I know it is expensive for an eight year old car but they do have v good resale value.
