    Hi Boards,
    Hope you are all well!
I have some questions regarding tax returns when leaving Ireland, as I have heard numerous things, that I wish to settle once and for all. My story is:
I moved to Dublin in February 2016 and worked until February 2017 and then moved back to Denmark with no plans of moving back to Ireland. My questions therefore are:
    1. What taxes am I entitled to claim back for 2016? (I have been told that I can get some of the bonus tax I have paid in 2016 + PRSI, USC, etc, and PAYE if I overpaid).
    2. What taxes am I entitled to claim back for 2017? (Same applies as above - paid roughly almost 10.000€ in 2017 for 2 months).
I hope I have been brief and clear enough, and appreciate any help.
    Best regards,

    1. Any tax you paid that was too much, run the calculation and see if you paid too much tax.
    2. Any tax you paid that was too much, run the calculation and see if you paid too much tax.(bear in mind split year residence relief)

    Hi Ciaran,
Thanks for replying. Do you by any chance know what the calculation might be? Especially with the split residence relief?
    Cheers, Johan
