I have been looking for a rangefinder and came across http://accuprogolf.com which seem to be based in Ireland.

Anyone try any of there rangefinders out? Any good?

Another thing is they seem to be selling these cheaper on done deal than through there own website, would this worry anyone?

How much the precisionpro models going for?

Found any strong opinions on them either way?

Very highly rated on Golfwrx. Equivalent to bushnell but much cheaper. They have the precision pro nx7 pro which is 250usd and it has slope which can be switched off.

Good question, I don't think so personally

I'd say you would be opening yourself up for all sorts of accusations playing with one of these.

Has anyone ever used a rangefinder with slope? be interested to see if you feel the extra info is of much benefit or different from what you could judge on your own with a non slope model

According to prexisionpro "The ruling is that the device must have the capability, therefore if the switch is in the internal optics, the ruling body entrusts in you that the slope mode will be turned off during competition. The optics will display M1 while in tournament mode and M2 while in slope mode. Thanks! "

I think that's pretty fair, and self regulated like alot of other things in golf. Honour system in full effect

Imo Bushnell is the only way to go. Always find them easier to use especially now with the jolt technology.
Warning for buying from the states remember u are likely to have to pay Irish vat taxes and duties on the item when it arrives which can make it very expensive

I think for half the price if a bushnel it is definitely worth giving one of these a go. As long as it is accurate is the main thing

Bought a Chinese model on eBay over a yr ago €70
Still going strong without a hitch or battery change

I wasn't sure if I wanted a laser but was expecting my old golf buddy to pack in and reckoned laser may be the way forward but wasn't sure

Brother has bushnell jolt model bought in states
Crosshairs slightly better but 4 times the price here when he bought versus mine
Distances show the same but no jolt feature on Chinese model

I find I only use it on par 3's and inside about 150yds if unsure of pin position
Other than that golf buddy is fine and still going strong even though the joystick bit is banjaxed
I like the way it sits on the handle of the trolley for a quick refernce

    Play off 9
