Car seats in UK

Hi, Travelling to UK in May with three kids, 11, 6 & 3. Just looking up the website re the new changes regards car seats and am still a bit confused. I think that it would be ok to have two booster seats for the 6 and 3 yr old, but am unsure. Would we need a proper car seat for the three year old? Travelling over by train,…

my understanding is that booster seats cannot be sold any more, but its grand to use them.
Personally, unless thats a big 3 year old, I'd be iffy about doing much driving with a 3 year old without a proper seat, or at least have a booster that has a dangler yoke to pull down the seat belt to a height that doesnt take their head off.
