Parcel Motel issue

    I have used Parcel Motel for a good couple of years until recently. They lost a parcel of mine and have acknowledged their fault in losing it and agreed to refund me that cost of the parcel which amounted to €99. This was on the 20th February and i gave them my paypal address to refund it into. I still haven't received anything and when i get in contact with them i get an apology and that they will contact their claims department and nothing. I feel i'm getting fobbed off in the hope i forget about the whole thing.

    Has anyone had similar issues and any advice on how to proceed with them would be greatly appreciated

    PM went to the dogs at Christmas and never recovered. Good luck chasing them for your refund.

    I've just got my refund. Took 6 weeks for them to give it to me and over 9 weeks since they lost the parcel. Wont be using them again either, i'm now using AddressPal through An Post now. Cheaper and it goes to the local post office too

    You do know AddressPal offer no tracking like parcelmotel do, this means they won't confirm if they even actually received a parcel.

    Also last time I checked, anything that does get lost they will not compensate you for. This means if the problem that you just had with PM happens with AddressPal you'll be left totally out of pocket. It won't matter how many weeks you have to wait.

    You get what you pay for basically.
