    Hi everyone,

I am going to have my driving test in the Churchtown sometime in the next week. I have a few questions and will appreciate your advise :

    - will they ask any theory questions prior to the test ?
    - is there any special route that you suggest me to practice in the coming days ?
    - I have two other driving license but from other countries which are not convertable here but I can rent a car and practice in the coming days
    - what are the common mistakes in the test ?

Thank you for your comments. I will definitely share my experience after the test.

I took my test last week and failed due to my own stupid mistakes, biggest problem from what I can tell is observation.not checking over my shoulder in blind spots during three point turn and the reverse around the corner and hesitating on roundabouts

If you Google driving test questions you should get a list of the ones most commonly used,I did and thanks to that I got them all right, hope this helps and best of luck.

I did the test a few times and all of the pre-test questions I was asked were covered in these two pages:
    http://www.drivinglessonscork.ie/driving_test_faq.html
    http://www.erneschoolofmotoring.com/drivingtestquestions.html

They may (depending on weather) also ask you some questions about various car controls, such as how to turn on or turn off fog lights (if installed), how to demist the window and also some 'under the bonnet' questions, such as
    these and these.

    Good luck.

I think there are some other videos on that website that include the manoeuvres, they're in the Training Vidros section. Have you taken any pre tests? There's no substitute for getting good advice from an instructor
