    Hi guys just about to buy a car today and i am wondering what site is the best for to check the reg on to make sure all is ok on it ?.

    Is it an Irish plate car?
    Private sale?
    You looking for things like owed finance, previous owners etc?
    Motorcheck or Cartell are the most popular imo, both have many mentions in this forum.

    Its a Irish Car that was a import from the UK i need to check all the UK side of things mostly.

    Private Sale

    Basically Finance and to see was the car worte off in the UK more or less is what i like to know.

    Perfect what one is better for the UK side of things ?.

    AS i don't wont to be handing over nearly money with out knowing some extra history about it.

    Not buying that car at all. Turns out its clocked.

    Had a look at the MOT records in the UK from last year and its out by a good 50k miles compare to what the cartel MOT reports said.

    and 2 others had checks done on the car as well in the last 4 months and must have not bought it as they did not match up at all.

    Do people wont the car reg so they know not to buy the car ?.

    I am very happy with the report saved nearly 9k myself on buying a clocked car.

    I've used both Motorcheck & Cartell and almost always found Motorcheck has more info, mileage readings (especially for Uk cars) & write off info.... just my opinion though.....
