My child was got a injury in a private playground. Is it worth going through the Personal Injuries Assessment Board/ PIAB?
If you did go through the Personal Injuries Assessment Board how did you get on?

It would vary wildly depending on the situation, a situation best kept between you and a solicitor.

How did the injury happen, was some of the equipment faulty?

You don't have a choice. All personal injuries have to go to PIAB in the first instance.

What happened? Without that information it is hard to comment without knowing.

I mean I'm getting the popcorn ready for the inevitable accusations of you being a terrible parent and compo culture nonsense but craic on I'm a bit bored.

Surely the first port of call should be to notify the operators of the playground to ensure it doesn't happen to another child, and see what they have to say about the injury?

If your child was injured, talk to your solicitor
