Unpaid Toll

    Hi,

I forgot my toll payment when travelling up and back to the North about two months ago and I live in Dublin. But the fines went to my home family house and were not opened until last night, now I must pay over a 100 euro for each fine, of which there is two, obne for each way.. What happens if I don't pay this ? I will be prosecuted and brought to court? It will surely be thrown out at that stage similar to non payment of car tax, as that's what happens there.

My friend is a guard and told me thats what happens if you don't pay your fine for non payment of tax as the courts haven't time to be sweating the small stuff.

Can anyone enlighten me some more? Will i take a chance and leave it go to court and then hope it's thrown out?
