I am in reciept of Disability Allowance. I am on daily medication for Epilepsy which is now thankfully under control. I am now seizure free for just over a year now. I am planning on resuming college in September and I would really like to learn how to drive in the mean time. I've been reading up online and have found conflicting information some people say you have to be seizure free for 1 year others 5 years before been allowed to drive by your GP.

Should I get the all clear from the doctor to drive. Would I lose my disability allowance?

No been able to drive has no connection to been on disability ,
But I would check about how long you have to be seizure free before been allowed to drive

This isn't really the correct forum for the question but I believe it's a yea following a seizure.
