    Yep it's online now, €19.99

Edit: it needs 3.7GB free space

It's not showing up on eshop on my phone. Might be another hour before us continental types get it.

I can see myself choosing the Switch option over Xbox/PC more often than not. Especially for platformers.

The Switch gives you time to play those kinds of games on the go, with structures geared to 10/15min play times, and play them without the kind of compromises that were implicit in the 3DS and Vita.
    I'll be buying this tonight!
plus, Sumo have never let me down with their racing titles, nice to support them with this new adventure.

Played the first few levels last night. Gorgeous game, but the controls take a bit of getting used to!

Getting all the coins is going to be TOUGH.

HD rumble is broken so I had to turn it off. A patch is on the way in the next couple of days.

I'm two minds about this. The concept doesn't grab me, and I don't want to buy it just because there's nothing else there and I've finished Zelda! Isaac is too expensive for a game I already have on Steam, and I didn't exactly love it there, though the Switch does seem like a better medium for it.

What about Shovel Knight Treasure Trove ?

I'm tempted by Snake Pass I must admit....

I downloaded Snake Pass last night but have yet to try it, might get a little time today, away from the desk, and try to have a go.
Cidonalad tried it out and didn't like the controls either.

I have Shovel Knight. It's very good, but it doesn't grip me too much. I've two levels from the end on the first game, and still have the DLC to go through. I can't see it holding much replay value for me.

I downloaded it yesterday as well. My five year old played it for a bit and said it was really good. Then she decided to play 1-2 Switch. By herself, which (a) makes me doubt her review and (b) makes me almost as sad as that "boy-who-made-himself-a-switch-out-of-cardboard" story.

Will give it a go over the weekend, but it looks pleasant enough.

Played this for an hour today.
A lot of fun though the controls are... Idiosyncratic...
And people thought Star Fox Zero was awkward!
The visuals are nice but, ultimately, it's a limited package.
No real enemies in the game barring gravity and the occasional drop.

It was just patched. The rumble on pickups has been dialed right back, and the pickups are now remembered (so when you go back to a level, you're only left with the pickups that you missed).

I was playing it this morning and it seemed that, unless you hit one of the checkpoint spots, you lost any subsequent pick ups when I inevitably fell off of the world.
    Has that changed now?

Has anyone got far in this? I want to like it, but it's such a chore to play due to the controls being fairly broken.

I'm at about level 6 I think. Controls are fine for me, the camera is a bigger issue for me at the minute.

Cool game though, a platformer without a jump button is interesting to say the least.

yeah im not having any difficulty with the controls different but work well and definitely not broken from what I'm getting , Agree the camera is a nuisance though..

Controls are fine for me too. There is definitely a learning curve though. Think like a snake. :)
