Two lights came on on my dash at the same time and have stayed on orange. They are the handbrake light and the and the traction control light. does the 2 coming on at the same time signify something? Its a 2006 320d

Happened mine. Rear brake pads were low. Replaced them and the light come back. Turns out the mechanic didn't hook up the sensor properly when he did the brakes. I plugged it back in and the lights went off after a few miles.

Usually an ABS wheel speed sensor, sometimes accompanied by the ABS light but get it plugged in.

One of the rear ABS wheel speed sensors (because the handbrake light is on too) iirc.

Had those two lights on my 320d as well. Turned out to be a dodgy ABS sensor, even though that light wasn't on. Replaced the sensor and then took it to a garage to get the code cleared. Problem sorted.

Good chance it's the same thing with yours. Try bringing it to an indie place where you might get the faults code read cheap or free! That'll tell you which wheel has the problem.
