Aircoach android app no longer working

Anyone have any luck with the Aircoach app on an android phone or tablet? It's currently telling me that there are 'currently no scheduled services running' but the iOS (Apple) app shows there are lots of buses on the road

While the Apple app is working, they have not updated it to reflect the timetable changes to the Greystones service that came into effect on Jan 1st last, looks like Aircoach have stopped updating their mobile apps :(

They are apparently working on a new version according to what I saw them post on social media. Should have handled it better though and not just left the old one in a state it is now. They should have tried to maintain it until new one was ready.

I heard they are in process of fitting out vehicles and testing a new system when I was on the Belfast route last week and once they get it all playing nicely it will be released.

Believe they are testing it in office because when someone at stop phoned to ask when late running bus was they could easily pinpoint it and told her exactly where it was and what time it left Dublin city.

+1 the iOS (Apple) app was last updated in Jan 2017 but the android app was last updated (according to the details in the Play Store) in Sept 2014 so somebody in Aircoach took their eye of the ball big time.

When the app last worked, a significant number of the buses did not appear to have an active tracker onboard. The iOS app on an iPad is currently showing that there are lots of buses running but every one of them is going to show up at my favourite stops at the exact scheduled time so effectively the app is just acting as a timetable - in the case of the Greystones service, the 2016 timetable.

There is a developer company name and person e-mail address in the Play Store details, I have sent that person ('technical director and co-founder' according to the company website) an e-mail but heard nothing.

Update: got a response from the developer to say that an update was posted to the Play Store and it's working again.

But ....... the app (iOS and Android) still hasn't been updated to reflect the (Jan 2017) change to the Greystones (702) timetable. This is most likely a data error on the part of Aircoach and not the fault of the s/w developer.
