Buying a watch in Abu Dhabi??

Hi... son off for week holiday in Abu Dhabi. Am interested in a Tag Heuer watch and wonder should I ask him to get me one in the Duty Free?? Is there much if a saving??? Will the warranty extend to Ireland??
