Saab recalls and warranty

This isn't a DIY question but it is about repairs...

I have a Saab 93 from 2005. I am getting a front suspension spring replaced today after having the other one done about six months ago. Both were broken. I was blaming this on speed bumps before doing a quick google to find out that this was a known Saab issue. Google also tells me that the airbag on my car model might chop me into bits with shrapnel if it were activated.

Saab are gone. Is GM the contact for recalls in Ireland? Are GM even in Ireland? I can't find any info myself on who supports warranties and recalls here.

I had a 2007 Saab 93. Six months after Saab went bust I recieved a letter from Saab about a clutch release bearing issue causing vibration and to bring the car back to any ex main Saab dealer for a free repair. I brought it back to where I bought it in Dublin and they said yes they where aware of the recall but I'd have to pay for the repair and try and claim it back from Saab . They basically told me my warranty was effectively gone. Tried another dealer in Meath and was told the same thing.

Assume ohm group in baldonnell are still looking after saab things as the likes of Gordon kelletts and spirit premium are still official service and parts dealers.
