Squarespace & Irish Domains

Hi there,

Not sure if this is in the right forum. I'm a bit of luddite when it comes to web hosting & domains, a friend has always managed my website (Wordpress), hosting (Blacknight), and domain (Irishdomains.ie) to date.

However I want to switch to a Squarespace site, but am struggling to find a clear explanation of how to do this in both the Squarespace and Irishdomains back-end.

Though it's when I try to approximately follow these directions in the irish domains control panel that I get confused. A bit afraid to start changing settings for fear of breaking something

Can anyone point me to any walkthroughs or guides that might be of help, or offer any other advice?

Your domain provider should be able to make the necessary changes for you.

Squarespace should be able to tell you what records they need set.
And your domain provider should be able to assist you in setting them up.
