I was always under the impression that when you claimed SWA while waiting on a decision for JSA that the department would clear what the CWO gave you out of the backdate. However, a friend just went to collect her money only to find a rather sizeable backdate included with her JSA (which she wasn't even informed had been re-instated). She's currently ringing her local office as she can't attend in person until tomorrow and getting no answer, so I was just wondering if anyone knows what she is supposed to do?
