If you knew someone that has been driving in the country with uk plates for a year or more would you report them?

if I was sure of my facts , then yes. trouble is, it's hard to know that you are correct in your beliefs.

Where I live is full of cars on UK plates. I'm here over a year and the cars regularly move but are consistently parked in roughly the same area every night.
I think it's safe to assume they live in the estate.

Of the ones I've looked at closely, none of them have any documentation in the window.

I tried this, twice, about 7 or 8 years ago and I got pulled by the AGS within a week on both occasions.
The first time was a bright red e36 m3 (understandable) but the second time was a 5 year old focus.

Why are they getting away with it now?

UK cars do not display anything only a registration plate.

They finished with tax discs few years now.

Driver could be student or have a UK address also.

    Many different reasons.

If its that Lambo owned by the "notorious" - you could sell tickets to an event where you tell him the ins and outs of VRT :P
