Contrib Pension and Homemakers Scheme

Could somebody clarify whether Credited contributions under Homemakers Scheme can be counted towards the 520 minimum required for State Contributory Pension.
First question (forget Homemakers for the moment); The Citizens Advice Bureau website says "you need to have 520 full rate contributions", but elsewhere it refers to "paid" contributions. Do "credited" contributions (for whatever reason) count towards the 520?. I see that on contribution record from SW has a column headed "reckonable credited contributions for pension". I assume once contributions are in this column they definitely count towards the 520.

Second question (Homemakers); The Homemakers scheme seems to have 2 aspects - (1) Homemaker years can be discounted in calculating the no. of years worked, which in turn means the average contributions per year works out higher, which means you get higher pension
    (2) you can also get Homemaker credited contributions
Can you get both (1) discounted years and (2) credits?
