    I left in a tractor for repair to a garage last September and no repairs has been carried out on it . I have been told that if i try to take it out, to bring it to another garage they will charge me for storage can they do this

    Why weren't the repairs done between September and now?

    I'd charge them for time wasting. That's the longest wait I've ever heard of. Who's garage is it?

    every excuse under the sun could not get parts, had to send parts away, courier would not take parts as they were not packed right, got him some parts myself claimed he lost them. Gave him every break i could as he lives near me. Just want it back at this stage .

    Sounds like youre dealing with a cowboy operation. Don't give them any notice that you're calling for the tractor. Just rock up with a buddy or two and a means to remove it. Hopefully it's intact.

    Not sure which law;

    Law of lean or tort , not sure which law, where by no improvement has been made you have the athority to move the tractor and the garage cant stop you from doing so regardless of charges, best bet is Google it justin case things go sour

    Sounds to me like we're not getting the whole story here. I can't think of one garage that would charge for storage unless the owner of the vehicle is stalling in some way.

    Leave out the big man talk. The garage will have a buddy or two too. What a infantile post.
