    This is not an insult to those that spend three hours or more watching them every day this is a fact of life.
    Banging on about the one locked up in Fairly Shiity and now this Ken Barlow. Jaysus people need to cop on a small bit. Any yes I'm ok Hun xxx

    Fair City is really rubbish. That's as real as soaps get. The others just do rubbish that bit better. People love em. You draw your own conclusions about people.

    Keep the masses docile and distracted, then brainwash them into purchasing products that they don't need (unless they have recorded said soap and can therefore skip the ads). Soaps have their place, but not for entertainment :-D

    90% of TV is rubbish. Whether it's soaps, boiler plate comedies, stupid reality shows, the brain dead "hey look how much money i make doing x,y,z" shows that discovery churn out.

    It's all dirt.
