Mature nursing/midwifery assessment test

Hi, I received my date for the assessment test for entry into mature nursing but I can't make the scheduled date. After contacting the pas office they said I could show up to any other test but I wouldn't be guaranteed a place. Has anyone ever done this? Or would anyone know what the chances are of being turned away? TIA ☺
