Is there such a thing as a plastic-free electric kettle-where the interior doesn't come in to contact with the water?

All the ones I've seen have a plastic lid / window / filter.

I've seen them about but not too often!

They are the ones that I prefer to purchase also.

Had one but it wore out. Harvey Norman or Sound Store should stock them
if you have those stores in your area.

Unfortunately not - it'd have to be online

Having similar concerns about plastic, I did a lot of searching before I found a completely plastic-free kettle. I bought one by an Italian company, Ottoni Fabbrica. You'll find it on Amazon, and although it'll say no sellers deliver to Ireland, they actually do. I used a Parcel Motel address initially to try to get round it, but the seller (Ottoni Fabbrica) emailed me saying they couldn't deliver to it. I asked if they would deliver to my real address, and they did. I'm very pleased with the kettle. They might be a bit more expensive than your standard kettle, but it's worth it to know that I'm not slowly poisoning myself with every cup of tea or coffee that I make
