Sounds like an old plane flying over D2

    Keep hearing a plane fly over the office here in D2/Merrion square area.

    Sounds like the noise of an old WW2 plane from a movie.

    Haven't seen it yet.

    Any one have an idea what the cause is?

    Can see it from the office here in Ballsbridge. Pretty sure its the Air Corp...
    Sun's out. They must have given it a wash after the winter and it probably needs to be dried.

    Just saw it while standing on Harcourt street. Its the AIr Corps. Looks like the PC-9.

    A lot of people equate props with "old planes".
    Its just lack of familiarity with aviation.
