Armada Hotel Clare

    Hi all!

    We're looking at wedding venues in Clare and are extremely interested in the Armada. Has anyone had any experience with the venue recently and how would you rate it??

    Not recently, but I was at a wedding there in July 2012 and thought it was really good. The location is great, and remember thinking the venue was top notch.
    I was sharing a room with a few friends, and it wasn't great, but we had 4 lads in there, so it's probably not a fair representation.

    The weather was quite good that day too, which probably helped, but my memories of the place are good.

    We stayed there a couple of years ago, we booked it as part of one of the supervalu weekend away deals so our room was budget, it was OK, pretty standard room, we did see the upgraded rooms and they looked really really nice. Views there are very nice, great for a wedding and the food and staff were excellent throughout our stay. Hope that helps.
