if you're using it for the legitimate purpose of a free to air satellite reciever, check your connections and that your dish is correctly aligned.

If you're using it for other purposes, we can't talk about them here

Check the fta channels as advised bbc and itv etc are as you put it legitimate if these are working fine there is nothing wrong with the box or dish...sky channels such as sky sports discovery are not legitimate on this box and as advised are not allowed to be discussed here.
