    Hi, I have 05 vivaro 1.9di, my van won't go beyond 3000rpm in neutral, then I start to drive still won't pass 3000 for maybe 10 seconds , then it's like it fixes itself and van drives normal,
    Problem is in neutral and take off.

    I bet you it's the air flow meter. I had the same
    Problem with mine. It kept going into limp mode. Turn the van off and back on and the van went as normal.

    A new air flow meter solved the problem but ur first port of call is get the error read on a computer :-)

    Is the engine management light on.

    I thought the engine was limited to 3000 rpm while stationary.

    This light circled in image comes on for a second every now and then, but no engine management light .

    Not sure about that, when it's in for testing, I see them rev way higher than 3000 I'd say.
