How to get into a Ford Focus with no battery?

    a neighbour has a ford focus saloon
    its 10 years old , naybe more
    the battery was taken out months ago. now the car is locked and the key cant open the electric locks.

    i dont want to break in if i can help it.
    anyone got any insight or tips

    The bonnet on a Focus opens with the key. Open the bonnet and either change the battery or use jump leads with another car and then use the key on the doors.

    the key is not the fold out type. it is round with little lumps
    the lock is exposed and the key doesnt unlock the lock

    i havnt seen the car yet. more than just walking past it.
    i dont know how old it is but it is at leat 10 . could be 15.
    neighbours son was at it and said that you need to open from inside.
    i will look some day

    Simply twist the ford badge on the front grille to expose the keyhole to open the bonnet. Turn the key one way to pop it, and then the other way to release the safety catch.
