Swollen tongue

    Hi I have a dry hogget bought in two weeks ago and this morning has a swollen tongue . What is it?

    sheep get paralysis on one side of their face if they get listeria.....it looks a bit like that, is the tongue actually swollen, it doesn't look swollen in the photo

    Yes, from the picture it looks like listeriosis, usually from mouldy silage. Is there loss of saliva from her mouth?

    They are outside on grass though for past two weeks. Yes tongue is swollen. Vet said it was an alergic reaction to something she ate
