After lots of googling and not finding an answer I said I would post here!

I had a Wii a few years ago and bought lots of SNES classics on the store, I sold the Wii since but miss them so I'm looking to buy another..firstly, is the virtual console still available on Wii? (Its an old console so not sure if it's been phased out?) Secondly, are the same games on the Wii U? I mainly want Donkey Kong, Mario, and secret of mana. Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure if the same range of titles is on the WiiU VC as the Wii one .
I would say, if this is your prime reason to buy one then stick to the Wii, they are cheap as chips right now, you'll get one with a couple of games for less than €45 on Adverts.
And, as for getting those games you bought onto it, Nintendo link the games to your console not account so you can't redownload them for free, but there are other methods for getting VC games onto your Wii.....
Google should be your constant companion on these matters ...
