    Does anyone know when/where the schols results from this year are decided? Do any of the lecturers already know? (I'm comp sci)

    Lecturers will know if they are scholars.otherwise they wont

    Scholarships are announced on Trinity Monday (this year, 10 April). They are formally confirmed at a Board meeting shortly before. In practice, obviously, recommendations to the Board from each School and Department are settled earlier than that, but the date on which they are settled may vary between schools and departments.

    If your tutor, or the head of your school/department, walks up to you and mysteriously shows you a coin without saying anything, you have been recommended for a scholarship. At least, that's how it was in my day. But, even then, the practice was patchy; most scholarship candidates heard (and were shown) nothing before Trinity Monday.
