Any main dealer parts department (they should be open for a halfday), they sell Batteries for around half the price of Halfords and 20-30euro cheaper than most motor factors.

    Audi main dealer? Cheap?

    Motor factors maybe.

If it's a 1.9 TDI, Halfords ones range from €105 for their own brand one, to €129 for a Yuasa.
Axa customers get 10-15% off, and trade card gets you much more off.

Any motor factors. You can ring and ask for prices.

130e for a battery is ridiculous,i think the last time i bought a battery from AUdi it was 60e (after pricing one in halfords across the road :)

Depends on the battery...its like saying i paid 50 euro for a tyre a 100 euro is a rip off. .different size batteries for different spec cars

Mick's garage had the battery I needed for €350. (I often have a peep on MG to see a rough price of things before I get them.) My local top part were 90. Needed an abs sensor last week. MG €100. Top part €65. It pays to shop around.

€60 def wouldn't be the norm but worth the OPs while checking either way.

FWIW I paid €57 for mine in Halfords (trade card though) but it was for a 1.8 petrol and smaller than the one in a 1.9 TDI

I bought a Duracell battery with a 4 year guarantee for 70 euros and it just goes on and on and on :)

Not sure about Audi dealers, but I know vw dealers are cheap for batteries.

Trade card in Halfords gets price down to retail in motor factors.

Was quoted 200 for supply and fit in the opel main dealer recently. Picked up same spec for 90 at battery world.
