Reigning supreme 5/2 Newbury first race

    Well done, thanks,
St Stephen's Green is well fancied in the 6.30 Dundalk

Not a tip but quite like Rotar Baron in the last a Dundalk tonight. Won this race two years ago. Couple of spins with apprentice on board to sharpen him up after his winter break without the hood. Hood back on tonight (his two C&D wins he wore it) Wayne Lordan booked nice draw in 5. 10's in pp with them paying 4 places looks a nice each way to me.

Anyone see the Roger Loughran special in the hunter at Newbury there? I'd say there was some dough done on that on the exchanges.

You won't get the extra place because the three reserves won't run. Good luck anyway.

It's a extra place special race with pp. As is the first at Dundalk tonight.

Wow, rare to see a special like that at Dundalk.

127 matched at 1000 on the winner.

The jockey got a 28 day ban

If there's one to beat the English raider in the 8:30, then surely it's Elleval. Been racing in Meydan over the Winter, it should be as fit as a flea.

Backed it at 16's last night. Not off a yard tonight. Should hack up next time.

Also backed it at 16s last night. Went up the arse of every horse and still ran on for 5th(?)

Broke alright, deliberately got into trouble with back maker and was adrift. Into trouble down the inside and then switched. The only thing was they made it too obvious and will be short enough the next night.
An few undesirables now associated with this stable!! People thought a few years ago he was going to the top as a trainer, not going to get there now with the antics of the last 18 months.

I thought it was just a horrendous ride dunno if it was stopped

O'Callaghan must be the worst trainer for landing a punt I've seen about six huge gambles from the stable all of them done

Another one yesterday 4s to 7/4 finished 2nd

They need to try and tie up a better stable jockey imo. Some good prospects in training and good support from top patrons already so I doubt he's too concerned with their Dundalk gambles going astray.
I remember Kelly ****ed up a monster gamble of theirs on Maknificent in Galway a couple of years ago, horse came in a close 4th on the snaff iirc.

This was a naas gamble that went astray. Intrepid Prince another of his that absolutely hosed up in Galway won turning in and was heavily heavily eased down. Have been told he's fond of a gamble himself which might explain why some of his are so heavily punted. Magnificent was a terrible ride, think Tony Martin won that race with another gamble actually!
